Our philosophy
We coined the phrase “Environmental Wisdom” to reflect our dedication to developing the knowledge and expertise necessary to protect our rich global environment and ensure sustainable development. We are committed to expanding this wisdom through advances in knowledge and technology and by working to create environmental value. In short, the OECC serves as a public center in the community with the aim of making a lasting contribution to protecting the earth’s abundant natural resources.
Our vision
Environmental deterioration brings a host of problems and issues. Our mission is to protect the global environment of tomorrow by working to resolve those issues. As a public interest corporation, we support the activities of a variety of environmental actors with a heavy focus on international cooperation.

We actively use our status as an association dedicated to public welfare to develop OECC members and enhance information resources and networks.

We provide the community with accurate, up-to-date environmental information to support information resources and networks.
