The session will translate policy discussions into practical implementation by providing insights on international policy developments and global trends related to LRM under the Montreal Protocol, together with key recommendations from the UNEP TEAP report on LRM presented by the Co-Chair of the Task Force that prepared the report. It will also highlight Türkiye’s efforts on enhancing LRM and Japan’s experience in refrigerant recovery and lifecycle management.
These perspectives will help identify key challenges to LRM implementation, explore practical solutions, and consider concrete first steps and collaborative approaches for advancing LRM in different national contexts.
