NAMA Guidebook

Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) will be required to be implemented after 2020. Therefore, until that time, parties are making efforts to achieve the 2℃ target through reduction of GHG emissions based on the Cancun Agreement. Developing countries have been voluntarily conducting Nationally Appropriate Mitigation Actions (NAMA) and have been submitting implementation reports to the UNFCCC, while receiving support through finance, technology, and capability building. While there is a pressing need to prepare for the implementation of NDCs and the Paris Agreement, developing countries have been making good use of experiences such as NAMAs. The NAMA Guidebook published by OECC is a reference for practitioners of developing countries, that can be downloaded from here.
