On June 2, UNFCCC 10th Durban Forum discussed “Building capacity for addressing climate and development goals coherently”. Mr. Makoto Kato of OECC co-facilitated the meeting and reported successful results to the Paris Committee on Capacity Building (PCCB).

On May 13, MONRE, Vietnam and JICA organized WS on Draft Decree for GHG reduction. Mr. Kato, OECC presented int’l experiences e.g. Japan’s domestic climate actions.

OECC has been exhibiting in an Online Environmental Exhibition “Virtual Japan Pavilion -Innovation for 2050 net-zero-” provided by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan, as the JPRSI secretariat.

On 10 March 2021, 9:00-10:55 (UTC+7), the PaSTI (Partnership to Strengthen Transparency for co-Innovation) hold an International Workshop in the pavilion.
In the workshop, we will discuss about the next actions and its challenges for enhancing transparency in the ASEAN region with key players.
